Greek Mythology: The Gods, Goddesses, and Heroes Handbook by author Liv Albert and illustrator Sara Richard is a must-have for anyone who loves reading stories inspired by Greek myths. While variation in the stories is part of the reason greek myths have inspired so many stories, it can be hard to keep track of who's who. Author Liv Albert does a great job of presenting the information in a clear and concise way that makes it easy to find what you need.

I really liked the artwork included in the book by Sara Richard, though it probably would have looked better in a hard copy than an ebook version. I appreciated the pop culture references like the animated Hercules movie and the Clash of the Titans films as well, it helped tie everything together by mentioning some of my favorite Greek mythology interpretations.

This book is not something I would necessarily recommend reading on its own (it is more informational than a traditional story arc or narrative), it’s a great resource for readers of Percy Jackson, Lore Olympus, or similar stories. With this in mind, I decided to give the book a 4 out of 5-star rating. However, I would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone who wants some supplemental info for another read. An ideal choice for anyone who wants to go more in-depth with Greek mythology, you should definitely give it a chance and read it.

Thank you to NetGalley and Adams Media for allowing me to read it early at no cost to myself.
